Spoilers Ahead:
This week, the episode was all about Laurel. And for the most part I am okay with that. Laurel wants to find out what is going on about Sebastian Blood after the info she received on last weeks' episode. The episode starts out with a creepy Sebastian Blood visiting his 'aunt'. It was very pleasing to see Blood pull back is mask and reveal his true psychopathic self. Meanwhile, Laurel is dealing with her drug addiction and her obsession over revealing the true Sebastian Blood. Her mission to take Blood down was aided by her dad calling Arrow for her. It worked really well seeing Det. Lance loosen his hatred to the Vigilante a little more than he already has. Laurel hits a little too close to the jackpot on finding solid evidence on Blood. That's when Slade jumps in and demands something be done about Laurel. This is what brings her drug addiction full screen. We finally get a little more insight into it and Katie Cassidy finally gave a fairly strong performance when she was playing the drug-addicted, obsessive, and locked up crazy person. Seeing Detective Lance turn his back on her was also pretty darn good. I feel her drug addiction storyline is one of the weakest of the enitre show so far, though. To me, it just feels crammed into the show to give Laurel something to do. Laurel and Arrow chase a Brother Blood plant and Laurel kills him. At the end of the episode we see her lose her job and now has to deal with her addiction head on. Time are rough for Laurel. Meanwhile, Roy and Sin decide to run a operation similar to the Arrow. That plan goes south when Roy almost beats a man to death. Sin calls Thea and we see her and Roy have a little falling out at the hospital. We got to see a nice little scene with Roy extremely vulnerable for a second. As far the flashbacks, it was mainly just Oliver and Sara connecting a bit. We also see Sara turn down Ivo's offer, at which point we see him pull off his mask. He gives us some insight on how crazy he really is. At the end of the episode we Slade in full Deathstroke costume (IT LOOKS AMAZING!!) and give Blood a warning to get better. A great performance was had by Kevin Alejandro (Brother Blood) in this scene. Instead of being the charming winner, we see a man cowering and afraid. Also at the end, we see Arrow offer Roy a chance to train with him and control his new powers. Overall, minus Katie Cassidy's choppy performance and the focus on Laurel it was a good episode. It was a episode that progressed the story a lot, but still had it's flaws.
