Ted Ginn Jr. (WR)- 3yr w/ Arizona Cardinals... This is a good move for the Cardinals. They brought in a blazing fast receiver with not a lot of pressure expected to be put on him. On the other hand, bad move for the Carolina Panthers. They just lost another wide receiver. Expect them to make a move soon.
Jacoby Jones (WR)- 4yr/$14 million w/Baltimore Ravens.... Solid move by the Ravens. Jones was by far their top receiver, which is saying something when he was injured half the year.
Golden Tate (WR)- 5yr/$31 million w/Detroit Lions..... Risky move for the Lions. Tate is a player with tons of untapped potential, but this could be the year he breaks out with protection from Megatron and Matthew Stafford throwing to him.
Josh McCown (QB)- 2yr/$10 million w/Tampa Bay Buccaneers... Solid move. Mike Glennon did a good enough job last year, but has room for improvement. If that doesn't happen McCown could be a better option, although I haven't completely bought into how he played last year.
Darren Sproles (RB)- traded to the Eagles. Good pickup for the Eagles. It gives them another explosive runner and someone more reliable than Bryce Brown. Great pickup, though.
Pierre Thomas (RB)- resigned by Saints. Good move considering their trade of Darren Sproles.
Toby Gerhart (RB)- 3yr/$10.5 million w/Jacksonville Jaguars. Good move by Jaguars. Gerhart can't be any worse than Jones-Drew was this past year. I feel like Gerhart could be a solid running back if he gets enough playing time. He couldn't get that in Minnesota because of AP.
Donald Brown (RB)- 3yr/$10.5 million w/San Diego Chargers... Kinda of a head scratcher with them having Woodhead and Matthews. Brown is a solid RB, but the Chargers seemed set with Woodhead and Matthews.
Jairus Byrd (S)- 6yr w/New Orleans Saints... Great deal by the Saints. Byrd is a top-notch safety and their already tough defense just got tougher.
Aqib Talib (CB)- 6yr/$57 million w/Denver Broncos. Good deal for the Broncos. Their defense was rough last year, especially their pass. It is good that they enhanced the pass d, but I'm not sure Talib, a player with problems off the field, is worth $57 million. Although it did take him away from the New England Patriots, so that is good for them.
Darrelle Revis (CB)- 2yr/$32 million w/New England Patriots... Great deal by the Pats. They got a potential league best corner for a steal of a price. I know it is tough on their cap, but their defense was awful last season. Plus they have a great replacement for Talib at a fraction of the price.
Rashard Jennings (RB)- 4yr/$14 million w/New York Giants... Great deal for the Giants. They really needed a good running back after last year's debacle. Jennings is better than anyone they have on the team so expect him to start immediately.
Steve Smith (WR)- 3yr w/Baltimore Ravens... great move for the Ravens. They already had a strong receiving corps, and it just got stronger. It may be bad news for Torrey Smith, though, with the emergence of Jacoby Jones and Marvin Lewis as top receivers. It may push him back on the depth chart. Overall good move for Baltimore.
